WHAT DENOMINATION IS CALVARY CHAPEL QUAKERTOWN?

Calvary Chapel of Quakertown is a Non-Denominational church. For more information, please refer to our “What We Believe” page.

WHAT DOES CCQ BELIEVE?

Because this is so important to us, we’ve taken time to put together a Detailed Page Regarding Our Beliefs.

WHERE DOES CCQ MEET?

We meet at 347 New Street, Quakertown PA 18951.  We’re conveniently located at the end of New Street allowing us a slower traffic area and great parking!  We have a nicely appointed sanctuary and our ushers can help you find a seat.  Additionally, we have Children’s Ministry (“CCQ-Town Kids”) available for children ages infant to 11 years old.

WHAT TIME DO SERVICES BEGIN?

Desiring to hold true to the Word of God, we study verse-by-verse through the Bible at our services. All services at CCQ are in-depth surveys of the text. Presently, we have three worship services throughout the week where we gather to worship through prayer, song, and the study of God’s Word:

Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM

We also have a Prayer Service on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM and a Prayer Fellowship meeting on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

We also encourage families to show up a bit earlier in order to check their children into our Children’s Ministry (“CCQ-Town Kids”).

HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE LAST?

Our worship services typically last between 75 and 90 minutes.

WHAT IS THE SANCTUARY SETTING?

The Sanctuary Setting is primarily intended for Adults and Families with children ages 12 and older and is to be observed in a way that is as free from distraction as possible. There are times that adult themes are taught as we go through the Bible, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse, and we trust parents will use their discretion, leading their household as we work our way through God’s Word.

We continue to provide a vibrant Children’s Ministry (“CCQ-Town Kids“) for all of our children, ages infant through 11 years old. Caring and devoted volunteers serve the children each week by lovingly teaching the kids timeless Biblical truth; and we are so thankful for each one of our volunteers, and for all of our kids!

DO I HAVE TO DRESS UP/WHAT DO I WEAR?

Feel free to wear what you’ll be comfortable in; many wear jeans to our services. Our only request regarding dress is that it would be modest – as not to distract from our time of worship.

DO MY CHILDREN SIT WITH ME IN THE SERVICE?

CAN I BRING MY BAG IN THE SANCTUARY?

For safety purposes, please no Backpacks or Duffel Bags in the sanctuary at any time.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE SANCTUARY?

We welcome having water and water bottles in the sanctuary. However, we will no longer be allowing coffee (either coffee brought from home—travel mugs, Wawa, etc.—or coffee served in the Bookstore) to be brought into the sanctuary during services.

We invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee or hot cocoa from the Bookstore or Lobby after service! We only ask that you please be mindful and use a lid, and especially be mindful of the little ones–help them and make sure they use a lid, use lots of caution when using the hot cocoa machine, and be mindful of where they drink it.

Lastly, please no food in the sanctuary at any time.
