Nursery & Sunday School
Our Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to supplementing the family in their attempt to lay a spiritual foundation that, in God’s time, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. All of our Children Ministry Team leaders and volunteers are screened, and certified with up-to-date child health and safety training.
For those with newborns and infants who feel they cannot leave their child in the care of our Ministry Team, we have a mothers room where you will be able to see and hear the worship service.
In Sunday School the children break into age-appropriate classes. During this time, they learn Biblical truths and accounts from caring and consistent adults. Childcare is provided at the 10 AM Sunday Service and the 7:30 PM Wednesday Service for all ages infant to 10 yrs. Children ages 10 yrs. old and above may sit in the sanctuary with their parents.
Everything we do in Children’s Ministries at Calvary Chapel Quakertown is designed with relationships in mind. Relationships between parents and children, children and school, children and God. We understand what an awesome responsibility and blessing it is to be a parent. Our programs are designed to walk alongside you and your children as we work together to teach them what it means to live for Christ every day!
We offer child care from newborn to Kindergarden during our service times. Our Children’s ministry staff is well trained and will love your child the best they possibly can during the short time they are with us.
God Squad Youth
The God Squad Youth program is presently for ages 7-11 years old. They meet the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month with activities outside of the Church throughout the month.
Home Fellowships
In addition to our normal services, Calvary Chapel Quakertown has a family fellowship, home fellowship, two women’s fellowships, a men’s fellowship and a prayer meeting during the week.
Family Fellowship:
The last Sunday of every month is an all church family fellowship. We meet for dinner at 5:30 PM study and have a communion service at 7 PM. Feel free to bring a main dish or side dish for the dinner. Children of all ages are welcome to attend this Sunday Evening Service only.
Chalfont Women’s Fellowship:
Our Chalfont Women’s Fellowship is studying the Attributes of God. Copies of the study can be found on the church bulletin board. If you have any questions please contact Debbie Edwards at 215-997-0258.
Lehigh Valley Home Fellowship:
Our Lehigh Valley Home Fellowship meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at the Romig’s. We are currently going through the book of I John. All are welcome, including children! Any questions call Rob 610-739-4501 or Mary 610-739-4502 .
Quakertown Women’s Fellowship:
Our Quakertown Women’s Fellowship is at the church on Friday mornings twice a month. Childcare will be provided for this study. Donations for childcare would be welcome but are not required. If you have any questions about this study, please see Shanti Cummings or e-mail her at the church e-mail.
Men’s Fellowship:
Our Men’s Fellowship meets in Lansdale. For more information, contact Len Bogan at 267-242-7224.
Weekly Prayer Meeting:
Our weekly prayer meeting starts 7:00 pm on Tuesdays.
Base Camp Youth
“The ‘Base Camp’ of a mountain is an area used for staging an attempt at the summit. Base camps are positioned to be safe from the harsher conditions above.” -The Mountain Climbers Handbook
With this definition in mind we chose the name “BaseCamp Youth” for our Jr. and Sr. High Youth Group at Calvary Chapel Quakertown.
Our ministry team’s core desire is this: “that the students who come would know Jesus Christ in an intimate and personal way; worship Him ‘in spirit and in truth’; and live a life loving God and loving people.” To cultivate that, we focus on God’s Word (Eph. 5:26-27, Heb. 4:12), and servant-hood (Matt. 20:25-28).
BaseCamp meets regularly on Fridays, from 7:00pm – 10:00pm. A typical night will involve fellowship, awe-smackingly cool games, worship through music, biblical teaching and small groups. Special events and trips can be viewed on the Church Calendar and at the BaseCamp Youth Webpage.
Something to note, Jr. and Sr. High students meet together. We feel it matures the Jr. High kids by witnessing the Sr. High students live out their faith in the Lord. And it matures the Sr. High students through leading by example. Students are also encouraged to bring their friends who may not attend CCQ regularly to come join us!
